What is a “Startup”, after all?
Namaskar . Hello . Howdy . Hola
Welcome to Concept Curry. This is my first blog post ever, “officially”, so in a way I am just starting-up this blog and it is a nice example of a startup!
Technically or Wikipedia_ally
I believe that
A startup is any concept or any business idea for profit or non-profit that is unique in it’s own way.
Preferably, I would call an innovated idea a startup which is bound to change the world and it’s inhabitants (at least the guy whose idea it is, thinks so). However, it could be a replica of any pre-existing concept but unique to it’s geography or market. The concept could be selling the same product as others but with a different flavour.
A startup could be an organism or an organisation i.e. being run by just one person or two, ten or fifty… the size does not matter here; it is only the newness in that concept and it’s virtue of being unique that differentiates it from rest of the crowd.
Generally, a startup has a goal / a mission like any other organisation and it also should have one anyway. The goal could be a profit earning business, a social cause or anything that is crazy enough to get a bunch of people attached to it ready to work 20 hours a day, 8 days a week (8 here just shows how passionate a startup can be) and 465 days a year (same reason). Trust me! People who run the to-be-fortune-500-company startups are that crazy or may be I just over did it. Never mind.
Concept Curry is also a startup. The idea is to provide a curry with a fine recipe of startup tips, career advice, Internet, startup reviews and a lot of other things that I want to write about; I just am not able to recall everything that I had thought of.
I just got started.
